SnapRefund v5.0.0 is Live

DXC Assure Claims Integration, Multi-Brand White Labeling, Card Billing APIs, Two-Factor Authentication

DXC Assure Claims Integration ‍

Automated Claim Payments from Assure Claims

ClaimsSnap now integrates directly with DXC Assure Claims. A daily job reads approved claim payments and issues them automatically, so adjusters approve payments in Assure Claims and payees get paid without any manual re-entry.

Multi-Brand White Labeling

A single sender account can now hold multiple branding profiles, each with its own name and mapped bank account, so carrier names in Assure Claims route to the correct bank and branding. Recipients see only the brand assigned to their payment, from the Pending Payments list through the payment details page, and every payment batch is validated so each carrier maps to the right bank account and branding profile before anything is issued.

Daily Summary Reports

Integration users receive an automated daily email report covering all single and bulk payments initiated through Assure Claims, including any payment bounces or failures detected by ClaimsSnap's payment monitoring.

Paper Check Defaulting After Inactivity

Pending payments that aren't cashed out within 7 days are now automatically mailed as a paper check, including multi-party payments still awaiting approval, so claim payments always reach the payee.

Per-Bank Paper Check Profiles

Senders can set up paper checks for each of their funding sources, with separate check settings and mail speed options per bank.

QR Code Inserts That Convert Checks to Digital

Paper check envelopes can now include a QR code insert that lets recipients opt in to digital payments instead of future paper checks. Bank accounts connected through a QR sign-up are verified to belong to the recipient, and the validated email is written back to Assure Claims for future payments.

Bulk Payment PDFs

Bulk payments now generate a PDF listing every included sub-payment. It's attached to the recipient's "You got paid" email, uploaded to the transaction in Assure Claims, and viewable and downloadable from payment details and Transaction History.

Invoice Numbers on Memos

The Assure Claims invoice number — or every sub-payment's invoice number for a bulk payment — is now appended to the memo on paper checks and pending payments.

One Payment ID for Reconciliation

Every payout writes a single unified payment ID back to Assure Claims' dedicated Payment ID field, giving treasury teams one reference to reconcile against.

Daily Positive Pay Files

ClaimsSnap now generates daily Positive Pay files for Skyward's banks as part of the payment batch, formatted to each bank's requirements with payee names that match the printed check exactly, protecting against check fraud.

Claim Numbers in Transaction History

Transaction History now shows the Assure Claims claim number for each integration payment.

Mailing Address Sync

Recipient mailing addresses now sync between ClaimsSnap and Assure Claims, so recipients can confirm the address on file and any new address is recorded back in Assure Claims.

Clearer Delivery Estimates

Payment details now say "Estimated Check Delivery" or "Estimated Deposit Delivery" instead of "Estimated Settlement".

Paper Check Cancellation Requests

Senders can request cancellation of a paper check that has already entered the mail pipeline and see whether it was successfully stopped. Paper check details also now show the pay-to-the-order-of name.

Branding Permissions for Team Members

Team members with the right permission can now view and edit the branding profiles set up by the account owner.

Sender Email Privacy Option

A new Preferences option lets senders hide their account email from recipients on the payment details page.

Adjustable Inactivity Timeout

ClaimsSnap's inactivity timeout now defaults to 20 minutes, and each user can set it anywhere from 5 to 120 minutes in Preferences.

ClaimsSnap Updates ‍

Live Branding Preview

Senders can open a live preview of a branding profile to see exactly how its colors and logo will look to recipients before saving, and the logo preview now reflects how the logo will actually appear on checks and mailed inserts — so a bad file gets caught before documents go out.

Automatic Wallet Top-Ups

Wallet users can set a low-balance threshold to receive email alerts and automatically top up the wallet from a chosen funding source, so payouts never stall on an empty balance.

Smarter Approval Reminder Emails

Daily reminder emails for payments awaiting multi-party approval now show each approver's current decision and activity, with a one-click action to remind outstanding approvers.

Per-Method Transaction Limits

Each payment method card on Send Payment now shows how much can be sent with that method, and Admin Dashboard users can view an account's limits per payment method.

PDF Attachments on Paper Checks

Senders can attach PDFs to a paper check direct payment. The documents are printed and mailed in the envelope with the check and remain viewable on the payment afterward.

Expanded ACH Capacity

ClaimsSnap now runs a second ACH rail in parallel with the existing one, automatically carrying standard ACH payments above the previous limit for enabled accounts. New banks are linked to both rails when added, with no extra verification steps for the user.

Clearer Paper Check Language

Paper check options across the send and cash-out experiences now use plain, descriptive names, and vendor references have been removed from payment pages.

Venmo Failure Notifications

Senders now receive an email with the transaction details when a Venmo payout fails, so nothing slips by unnoticed.

Automatic Refunds on Cancelled Transfers

Refund automation now also covers transfers cancelled after funds were pulled, automatically returning the money to the sender.

AgentSnap Card Billing APIs ‍

Card Charges with Compliant Surcharges

A new public API endpoint creates card charges with a compliant surcharge applied, using cards tokenized through the AgentSnap card drop-in. A built-in compliance engine decides per transaction whether a surcharge is allowed and which rate cap applies, based on the payer's state and card brand.

Surcharge Quotes Before Checkout

A quote endpoint returns the applicable surcharge percentage and the required disclosure text for a given amount and state, so payers see accurate, compliant pricing before they reach checkout.

Refunds with Proportional Surcharge Handling

Card charges can be fully or partially refunded through the API, with the surcharge refunded proportionally every time.

Transaction Status, Webhooks, and Itemized Receipts

Card transaction status is available through webhooks and polling, along with itemized receipts that break out the surcharge as its own line.

Configurable and Recurring Charges

The API supports configurable one-time card charge amounts and recurring auto-pay charges with editable upcoming amounts.

Platform-Wide Updates ‍

Two-Factor Authentication

Logins to ClaimsSnap and AgentSnap now require a one-time code sent by email or text after the password, protecting accounts even if a password is compromised.

New Device Login Alerts

Users are notified by email and text whenever their account is logged into from a new device or IP address.

Instant Branding Updates

Saved branding changes on the ClaimsSnap and AgentSnap settings pages now appear immediately, without a page reload.

Public API Updates‍

Full RTP and Same Day ACH Support

The public API now fully supports RTP and Same Day ACH payments and RTP wallet management, matching everything available in the web app.

PDF Attachments on Send Paper Check

The Send Paper Check endpoint accepts PDF attachments that are mailed in the envelope with the check and shown on the payment in ClaimsSnap.

Clearer API Documentation

The public API docs now correctly describe remit-premium as mailing a paper check for the net premium to the MGA or carrier.

Security Improvements ‍

Upgraded Sanctions Screening

The service powering OFAC sanctions screening has been upgraded several major versions, restoring fast and stable screening on every payment.

Layered Rate Limiting

The platform now applies rate limiting at both the network edge and the application level, with automated alerting on traffic spikes, as added protection against abusive traffic.

Hardened API Responses and Token Validation

Missing or invalid tokens are now rejected across additional endpoints, and payment and funding source responses return only the information needed — account credentials and bank-linking tokens are no longer exposed.

Bug Fixes ‍

AgentSnap Billing and Branding Fixes

Marking an invoice as "Policyholder Paid" no longer fails with a server error, and the platform fee is charged correctly. Users can see their policyholders, MGA/carriers, and invoices while identity verification is pending, whitelabeled emails show the company logo once instead of twice, and branding colors and logos save reliably and persist through settings updates.

Paper Check Fixes

Shipping options now show the correct service names, recipients can no longer choose check speeds the sender disabled, and the success modal appears after a paper check cash-out. Adding a new mailing address works for all recipients, arrival dates match the chosen shipping method, check previews work for senders with multiple check banks, and fees are rolled back automatically when a check is rejected before mailing.

Cash-Out and Bank Linking Fixes

Collect-payment pages show a clear error instead of a misleading message when payment data fails to load, connected bank details appear on first load, and failed bank linking now reports an error instead of a false success. Re-adding a previously unverified bank works again, bank ownership validation no longer blocks accounts from adding banks, and the guest sign-in screen masks the guest's own email address.

Payment Display and History Fixes

Transaction History now shows amounts consistently across payment methods, guest cash-outs appear in the sender's history even when the recipient is a teammate, and recipients no longer see sender-only controls like the Cancel Payment button. Admin Dashboard payment details now show an accurate status timeline and the correct destination for Venmo payouts.

Integration Fixes

Turning the Assure Claims integration on and off keeps existing settings, payment write-backs no longer fail on mailing ZIP codes, uploaded payment PDFs can be downloaded in Assure Claims, the "View payment in ClaimsSnap" link opens the right payment after login, and Mortgagee Approval payments no longer get stuck before sending.

Sign-Up and Email Fixes

Sign-up no longer fails after the business verification step and lets users correct a rejected business website, and verification email subjects show a clean site name instead of a full web address.

‍

Summary

Version 5.0.0 is SnapRefund's biggest release to date. The headline is our DXC Assure Claims integration: approved claim payments flow automatically from Assure Claims into ClaimsSnap, carry the right carrier brand and bank through multi-brand white labeling, and reconcile back with a unified payment ID, daily summary reports, and daily Positive Pay files. Paper checks get smarter too, with QR code inserts that convert payees to digital, automatic check defaulting for uncashed payments, per-bank check profiles, and PDF attachments mailed in the envelope. AgentSnap gains a full set of card billing APIs with built-in, state-aware surcharge compliance, and the whole platform is hardened with two-factor authentication, new device login alerts, expanded ACH capacity, layered rate limiting, and upgraded sanctions screening — rounded out by the largest batch of fixes we've ever shipped in one version.
