SnapRefund v4.0.7 is Live

Cancelable Payments, AiSnap Improvements, Bug Fixes

ClaimsSnap Updates

Venmo Minimum Fee Support

A new Minimum field has been added to Venmo fee configuration in the Admin Dashboard. When Venmo fees are assessed, the charged amount will never fall below the configured minimum. The form also enforces that the minimum is set at or above the base fee amount, preventing misconfiguration at the point of entry.

Cancel Payments from the Payment Detail View

Authorized users can now cancel eligible payments directly from the payment detail page. The cancel action is visible when a payment qualifies and is hidden or disabled — with a clear reason — when cancellation is not available. This eliminates the need to navigate away from a payment record to take action on it.

Cancellation Email Revisions

Payment cancellation email templates have been audited and updated for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all cancellation-related notifications.

Bug Fixes

Mass Payments CSV Parsing No Longer Gets Stuck

Fixed a critical issue where Mass Payments would get stuck indefinitely on the "We're parsing your file" screen when a CSV contained invalid rows. The backend now correctly loads the merchant account relation, allowing the file to reach its terminal state rather than hanging.

Plaid OAuth Banks No Longer Strand Mobile Web Users

Fixed an issue where users on mobile browsers were left stranded on a Plaid redirect page after authenticating with OAuth-required banks  due to a missing redirect.

Pending Micro-Deposit Banks Now Visible on Payment Collection

Fixed an issue where banks linked via Plaid Same-Day Microdeposits were invisible on the payment collection page, causing users to repeatedly attempt to add a bank. Pending banks now appear with their verification status and a direct link to complete verification.

AiSnap Aggregate Query Crash on Comma-Formatted Amounts

Fixed a crash in the AI chat assistant when processing aggregate queries for accounts containing comma-formatted payment amounts (e.g., "10,000").

Summary

Version 4.0.7 delivers targeted reliability improvements across both platforms — resolving critical issues in Mass Payments, Plaid bank linking, and account state management, while adding meaningful operational controls like Venmo minimum fees, in-context payment cancellation, and non-prod email tagging. This release reflects SnapRefund's continued focus on payment accuracy, operational clarity, and a consistent experience for senders, recipients, and admins alike.
