All verified users have the ability to send instant payments that settle in real time; 24/7, 365 days a year, even on nights, holidays, and weekends!

When a recipient chooses an instant cash-out the funds are transferred out of your wallet balance. The following has to be true for your recipients to see an instant option when they cash out your payments:

  • Your  wallet balance must be greater than or equal to the amount being cashed out by the recipient

For example, if you have a wallet balance of $100 and you send a payment of $70, your recipient will be offered both ACH and instant cash-out options.

  • When they choose instant your payment of $70 will immediately be deducted from your wallet balance and will settle in your recipients backing bank or reloadable gift card balance in a few seconds. Your remaining wallet balance is now $30
  • When they choose ACH the funds will be deducted from your default bank account that you added in Banks & Cards and will reach your recipient’s bank account within 3 to 4 business days.

 

In your Transaction History you’ll see all of the payments you’ve sent and received.

As your payments travel within SnapRefund you’ll find the status updates in real-time. There are six potential statuses:

  • Awaiting-sign-up
  • Awaiting-cash-out
  • In-transit
  • Settled
  • Canceled

    • In some cases we request a document upload of a controller’s photo ID

For verified personal users we collect the following during sign up:

  • First & Last name
  • Email
  • Address

In some cases, the financial institutions we partner with automatically flag accounts they were unable to identify automatically and they request a manual review of a user’s identification.

  • All 4 Edges of the document should be visible
  • A dark/high contrast background should be used
  • At least 90% of the image should be the document
  • Should be at least 300dpi
  • Capture image from directly above the document
  • Make sure that the image is properly aligned, not rotated, tilted or skewed
  • No flash to reduce glare
  • No black and white documents
